Research and Development

Research and product development is vital to Instrument Supplies.  Our Sales team travel extensively to gather information from our customers on their developments and requirements.  Our Technical team use this information to refine and improve our existing product range and to develop new products to meet our customer’s needs.

Prior to the development of any new product, our Sales team conduct intensive discussions with customers to gain as much insight as possible into what they require.

Based on this information, our Technical team set to work on making ideas and concepts a reality.  By using modelling software and sound engineering principles; our Technical team are able to produce visual models and actual prototypes of what the customer has initially seen as only an idea.

Once this new product has passed our rigorous design evaluations, it undergoes the necessary work to create the moulds.  From this point, if the Technical team are happy with the moulds, and working samples are produced, the new product will then be rigorously tested in our own laboratory.   We subject the product to continuous use testing in a mechanical hand, fluid flow, chemical compatibility, dosage accuracy and low temperature use.

Until such testing is complete are we then satisfied that we are supplying a high quality product, fit for its intended purpose.

Among the many products that Instrument Supplies designs and develops, we cover a range of applications from oral dosing to injectable treatments, from topical application to applying identification technology.

Instrument Supplies is able to offer assistance, not only on the applicators, but also on a range of equipment from back packs and tubes, to bottles and transfer spikes, all of which can be tailored to the requirements of the liquid to be administered.  We are able to offer a complete fluid conveyance system and advice on fluid dynamics and delivery.  Instrument Supplies will undertake to develop any fluid management system or solid oral treatment in complete confidence for any market or end use; all we need is your call.
